KOREA Trippin' Day 4: Everland [23 Apr]
Continuing from Day 3, we woke up early to make sure we got to Everland as early as possible so we could avoid the crowd (LOL) but it didn't go as planned cuz when we alighted from the public bus at the boarding area to wait for the Everland bus we were greeted with swarms of students and kids omgod.
Day 4!★ Everland
*Tip: Remb to print the discount coupons from the Everland website stated below & bring a form of identification like your Ez-link or passport!
[Spring spring spring~]
[There are pretty flowers everywhere omgosh]
[First ride of the day to warm up, the Viking ship hehe]
[Viking ship was okay, not that intense for us but definitely for the Junior high kids on the ride with us haha]
[Again, prettay flowerss!]
[Obviously not able to resist the pretty flowers haha (lol @ my Asian pose hahahaha - hsu)]
[So, Wan and I went on this insane ride which made Hsu and Yan sick just by watching it spin haha]
[Legit excited omg after an hour of queuing]
[HAHA you can definitely see someone enjoying herself while the other one hanging on for dear life :P]
[But yay! We survived with no injuries, except Wan feeling pain somewhere ;p]
[THIS WAS THE QUEUE FOR THE ROLLING X TRAIN AT ABT 1030 when it only opened at 11am WTS]
[Took this thingy? down to T Express after the long queue for the rides at the upper half of Everland and gosh it was hella sunny and we were all sunburnt ): (NO I WASN'T THO
[Super hungry after the rides which got me eating some corndog! YUM]
Our main ride of the day: T Express!!
[Thing to note: T express opens at 1pm for those who reserved beforehand with a pink ticket and only opens at 3pm for the rest of the public. Queue starts wayyyy before 3 so do take note!]
After our lunch, we hurriedly rushed over and oh my god, the queue was already at this faraway cordoned area with loads of people. The sun was crazy and we were all dying in the massive heat and getting roasted.
[Insane crazy long queue]
[You can totally see the expression matching our feelings then! The others weren't as excited as I was HAHA]
[Hsu feeling super yolo and brave moment haha]
[The ride was so GOOD we wanted to go once more but the queue was just nuts haha]
[Gurl, that drop at the beginning is no joke let me tell ya]
[Pretty flowers with bees buzzing everywhere which I am not a huge fan of but still, super lovely and pretty!]
[Loves loves]
[Time to go back to the good ol' childhood days at the zoo! ^^]
[Legendary Liger super poised]
[How our bus looked like, cute right!]
[The animals were so cute but kind of felt bad for them, since they were kept in a much smaller environment as compared to their natural habitat..]
[Hairbands which totally describes us, a giraffe and tigeress hahaha]
[Wanna bring you home but you are so damn expensive haha]
[People looked like they got a free bath after going for this ride and we were like omg?!]
[We were praying so hard we will not get wet and yup, the water went to the other two tourists instead omg ahha]
[Last ride which had us aiming for freaky stuff which I swore I would never go in but with them, nah it should be alright heh]
[Leaving Everland ):]
[Till next time, Everland!]
Overall Experience and Thoughts:
There were so many students there when we went on a Thursday. A school excursion to an amusement park like WHATT haha. The rides were really thrilling but the queue was insane, we waited for an hour each for the spinning ride, Rolling X train and about 2 hour plus for T express. We could only go on a couple of rides since the waiting time was so crazy and there were just so many available if you minus the kiddy rides. It similar to USS but T Express is way above the mark haha.
The spinning ride is definitely not for those with motion sickness, Rolling X train was quite a short ride but it should be the most exciting one after T express! T express was the best ride of all, with the close to 90 degree drop at the beginning making everyone shout for their lives. It is definitely not for the faint-hearted but a must go if you are garang enough. We were all wondering how did Running Man Yoo Jaesuk and the guest manage to complete their mission of taking photos while on the ride. Like crazy?? It's so fast you won't even have time to fully see what is going on ahha! Safari World was adorable with animals roaming around and meeting the legendary Liger! The animals would jump up at the driver's command and show off their talents before getting their treats, really interesting! The ride operators at Amazon Express were so funny and cute when they danced to the music to entertain the people in the queue haha which would definitely make your day!
How to get there:
Take bus 5002 (comes at every 15 min interval) from Gangnam Station (Line 2), Exit 10.
The bus stop is located next to the shop WHO.A.U.
Alight at Everland Bus stop. (takes about 55 mins)
Head to Everland Shuttle Bus stop to take a bus which will bring you there.

[Bus 5002!]
Admission Fee:
*Tip: Print the discount coupon on the Everland website and enjoy a special foreigner ticket price of 38,000 won.
Lunch: In Everland
Since it's an amusement park, just like USS, prepare for the food to be pricier than usual. The spaghetti which we tried tasted really yum yum and definitely worth the money! BUT try not to have it before going on T express cos there is so much cheese going on which you may find it hard to handle on a ride ahHaha!
Dinner: Mubanna Chondak in Gangnam
We wanted to have Kyochon chicken at Gangnam but after searching high and low for about 20 min, and asking random people including passer-bys and a flyer giver, we concluded that it had closed down!! :( So we just settled on this random fried chicken place we found at the entrance of the street.
There was no English menu available so the whole thing was in Korean which was gonna take me forever to read, so I decided to ask the staff to explain and recommend the best dish which Koreans would always have, WAYYY easier haha. It seems like it is more of a 'Koreans go-to' place since there were literally no tourists there. So she recommended us this set meal with wedges, fried chicken, grilled chicken and sausages which turned out pretty yummy? Yay to all our great impromtu finds! And with korean fried chicken, how can there be no beer? You can go check the place out cos it's pretty darn good!
[Super full even though there were 4 is us sharing this plate of food!! It looks SO much bigger irl I swear..... - Hsu]
[We ordered 2 500cc beer to share but we realised the Koreans behind us ordered the even smaller ones (300cc) which was not even on the menu-.-]
[Guess which is the losing team haha]
[Yup, the WanYan team lost haha]
[And the JoHsu team won yay! (evidently we know who's drunk :B) I swear I was not drunk, just that my face turns red really easily regardless of the consumption of alcohol haha]
After dinner, we went back home and literally knocked out haha, till next time!
P.S/ Anyone spotted our matching shirts hehehehehe #cheesy #butwedontcare!!!! #swag
